About Me
I'm LaTonya Jones, and I am running for Hazel Crest Village Trustee to bring strategic economic growth and community revitalization to our neighborhood. As a longtime resident, I have seen the changes within our community over the years-both challenges and the opportunities. I am committed to working towards positive change, increased transparency, and a stronger future for all residents.
With over 10 years of experience in economic development, project management, and community engagement, I have work closely with government officials, businesses, and community organizations to support projects that strengthens neighborhoods. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master's degree in Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati. My expertise in urban planning and project management has allowed me to help communities access resources that support economic development and neighborhood improvements.
I believe that with clear leadership, accountability, and community collaboration, we can move Hazel Crest forward. Together, we can build a thriving, transparent, and prosperous village for all.
